Support Request: Hotel WiFi disconnects nightly

Description

Hello we are using SiteKiosk on windows for a trade show. The hotel WiFi logs out nightly and needs to be re-connected. (It’s still connected to the network but needs a login from the pop up login page).

We are currently in the kiosk software and the browser says “cannot display website” (which makes sense because the WiFi is logged out. But when we press F7 and enter our SiteKiosk login information, it says Error while logging in: could not connect via SSL.

How can we get back to windows to re-enable WiFi.

Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry. In that case, you can use the Master Password found on the portal under Team>>Security>>Current Password. On the device and below the password field entry on the admin prompt, is a link you can click to switch to Master Password entry. You can try the "Run system configurator" under Programs and adjust Wi-Fi Settings there (Windows client version 1.5 and higher). Otherwise, you can select "Log off Windows user" in the admin dialog to get to the Windows logon screen. Auto Start is not canceled with this choice, so you can reboot the computer to login to the service user again.

Best regards,
Andre.
